Guest Post on MDA
For those that didn’t see it, I had a guest post at Mark’s Daily Apple yesterday. There’s a good discussion of coconut and palm oils going on in the comments, so check it out. And if you aren’t subscribed to Mark’s RSS, do so. Top notch stuff coming out of MDA everyday.

What are your thoughts on pumpkin seed oil? It looks like motor oil but is absolutely delicious.

Varangy,
From the little I can find on the fat breakdown of pumpkin seed oil, it looks to have about a 3:1 ratio of omega-6:omega-3, which isn’t bad. It’s highly polyunsaturated, so I’d say to use it sparingly and never cook with it.
Hope that helps
Scott
