Radiation Poisoning

Dr. Garrett Smith posted this article a few weeks back on the Performance Menu forums: The Radiation Poisoning of America. It’s an interesting look at a possibly insidious danger lurking in all of our pockets: THE CELL PHONE! Ok, seriously, it is quite an interesting read and I think it’s very difficult to dismiss most of the claims in the article, assuming the studies are truly conclusive. I have felt the perceived vibration of my phone when it’s not vibrating and also when it’s not even in my pocket. Perhaps there is something to this. I do think it’s quite impossible to believe that the constant bombardment of super high-frequency radio waves through our bodies is a benign thing. I haven’t ditched the cell phone, but I have started keeping it off of my person as much as possible - desk, car console, coffee table at home. In the interest of avoiding as many toxins and pollutants as possible, I find it easy to do without completely inconveniencing myself, even if I do sometimes leave it sitting in my car when I get out. That’s probably not a bad thing either though…it makes me less tied to everyone at a moment’s notice.
So there it is. Feel free to comment.
