Forgive me if this in the wrong area, I just stumbled onto your site today. I noticed the poll on the side asking what you should write about next. I did vote, but I've been recovering from an eating disorder for a bit over a year. It would really be helpful to me and many others in my position for you to write about how to 'heal' a metabolism. I know that mine is damaged and slow from the years of restricting calories.

Hey Matt,
I'm actually back to full-time working out now. Tomorrow is the 5-month mark. I still have to be careful with the weight and can't go full-bore on everything yet, but all in all, I can't complain about my recovery. I can do back squats and such again.

Cheers

I am a big fan of intermitent fasting as well.

As to your recent experience, I wonder if you can do some lower-body movements (like the leg press) to keep your activity up while you are recovering.

Good luck,
Matt
